How do i take pictures on my compaq laptop?
I just got this laptop for christmas, and I know how to take pictures from facebook, but isn't there some kind of program to take them on the computer? please helpp!

yeah, you can either download it. Or find on your computer. it says webcam.

Use YouCam : http://www.cyberlink.com/products/youcam/overview_en_US.html but there maybe some program installed in your computer. go to start menu->type in 'webcam' in the search box (bottom left) and you might get something. Hope I helped :)

Compaq Laptop???
Compaq Laptop?
Alright, this would be my first question, cool. Anyways, here's the thing, my teacher gave me a Compaq Laptop(He quit using it as he got another computer) but the thing is, I don't know how to do system recovery on it. I heard that you need to have CDs for to do system recovery but I didn't get any CDs as all I got was 2 floppy disc, a case, the cord that helps the battery from dying, and of course the laptop. And I don't get the settings where I press F8 and go to boot as when I do that, nothing happens. Help please?

So you're trying to completely erase everything off the drive and start over? Or just restore back like 2-30 days? If you're trying to restore completely, you'd need the recovery CDs from Compaq, OR a licensed copy of Windows XP, or whichever operating system your choice is. Hope this helps. -ABC. :)

so i'm thinking of getting a compaq computer from bestbuy. laptop specs or "ok". not bad for the priece i guess. but i was just wondering, is the computer company Compaq good? is there hardware good and long lasting?

compaq is a reliable brand compaq is also hp so yes u can trust that brand

I've never been a big fan of compaq I've had a few compaq laptops in the past and I just wasn't happy with them

i have almost all compaq computers in my home. well that and hp. same company for a while any way. I have had good luck with them,,, good support site should i need a driver or an update, or just need information about a computer that i am working on. sometimes as with all sites, it maybe difficult to drill down to what you want or need, but you will get there. i have a compaq laptop that is going on 10 years old, it is slow by today's standards, but it is running well, and functions very well.

if u r talking about the Presario T2330 Laptop go 4 it i bought the same one a month ago 4 449 u can put xp on them if u dont like vista and i can save u time there i have all the xp drivers 4 it i put 2 gigs of mem in it and it has turned out to be the best laptop iv owned and with xp on it it runs even faster and smother then i could have hoped 4 they also run cooler then any laptop ive seen to date

How do you make screenies on a compaq laptop?
How do you make screenies on a compaq laptop?
I know on a regular computer your supposed to press the button that says Print Screen Sys Rq. Or something like that. But on my laptop I have one key with prt sc and the other with sys rq. I tried pressing both, it doesn't work. I tried pressing just prt sc, it failed. Same with just sys rq. I need help.
