Why is my laptop Compaq Presario CQ50 keep shut down by itself?

May be cuz it is set to autoshut down after certain time of unuse. If thats the case go properties(Desktop)>Screensaver>Power>Power Schemes>Set the turnoff harddesk mode to "never".
