How can i get a wireless driver for my compaq laptop?
i have my step dads Compaq presario 3000 laptop. I tried reinstalling XP and it for some reason it did not format the hard drive :-(. One thing that it did do though is delete the wireless driver. i have already downloaded driver detective and it cost money which i dont have. Is there any way i can get the driver. also how do i find the model? all i know is that its a Compaq Presario 3000, thats all it says.

If it is an integrated wireless device, go to the compaq web site and loo at the specs for the 3000
