Does anybody have past experience with compaq laptop problems?
I am able to turn on my compaq laptop and it shows up all the users, but when I click on one, it says:"Welcome" and goes to a black screen! HELP!!!

sounds like a virus shut down your computer during start up and then start it again when you get to a screen that ask you in what way to start your operating system choose last known good configuration, if that doesn't work then use a back up disk if you have one if you don't call compaq tech support and tell send you one
