How can i play a DVD (Bride and Prejudice) on my Compaq laptop?
I have a Compaq laptop and when i insert the DVD into the drive it comes up with the little disc sign near the cursor to say its reading the disc but then nothing - nothing happens, no windows open, no error messages nothing - anyone know what i can do to solve this problem? Thanks :D x

before you put the disk in open the program that you use to watch DVD's Yes you need a DVD program.OK then put the dvd in should pick it up and run, if so then From start menu right click on your cd/dvd pick properties>auto run>choose video files and the program that you use to watch it >check the box at the bottom to use that every time it starts.
