Is a Toshiba or compaq laptop better?
We are looking to purchase a laptop, we don't need it for much, just e-mail, some games, web surfing, and picture sending/receiving. There is a Compaq for $350, and a Toshiba for $450, the sales associate says the Toshiba is better, it has some more memory, but he also says Toshiba is better. I don't know if he's just saying that to get an extra $100 or if I should believe him. Any opinions on which one is better?

I own a Toshiba Satellite laptop and I have been very happy with it. RECOMMENDED!!!!
